Outreach
The people of St. Gabriel come together throughout the year to serve those in need, both locally and globally. Our community:
Packs thousands of pounds of beans and rice for Metro Caring
Sorts surplus medical supplies for clinics in developing countries
Prepares meals for residents at Providence Network’s recovery house
Volunteers at the St. Francis Center homeless shelter
Runs a Christmas toy drive and weekly food donations
Collects essentials like jeans for those in need
This year alone:
3,500 lbs of beans and rice packed
135 pairs of jeans collected
2,000+ lbs of food donated
Countless toys and medical supplies shared
Our Outreach Committee organizes the annual St. Gabriel Reach Out Weekend (SGROW), encourages volunteerism, and provides emergency aid and monthly financial support to our mission partners:
Locally Haiti — uplifting families in rural Haiti
St. Francis Center — supporting people experiencing homelessness in Denver
Village Resource Center — serving South Denver families in crisis
Providence Network — helping survivors of addiction and domestic violence rebuild their lives
Together, we reach out with purpose, compassion, and hope.
